My holiday!

Planning:

Transport:               Where:                    Food:                 Games:                                 T.V.
Mums car                Aunties house         Noodles            BO2 ( Black Ops 2 )              Youtube
Drinks               GTA ( Grand Theft Auto )
                                                               Water
Writing:
In the holidays, I went to my aunties house because my mum and my nana wanted to take her Godmother to Sky Tower because she was going to Samoa soon. When we arrived to my aunties house, I say bye to my mum and my nana. When I got inside the house, I ask my cousin if we can play BO2 ( Black Ops 2 ). He said, “Yes!” We decided to play Zombies. It was me and Xavier that was playing because they had two controller. Then my cousin got a Ray gun and I got a sniper. After a while, we died on round 25. Later on, we played GTA ( Grand Theft Auto ). We played as Franklin because I wanted to do lots of cars up. When I did some cars up, I got bored so we change the game to Youtube.

When we change the game to Youtube, we watch Prestige Clips. He does wins and loses for GTA Online and epic moments for BO3 ( Black Ops 3 ). One of the GTA Online wins was that a Zentorno hit the pole and the car flips over the rockets because the rockets was chasing the Zentorno. Also one of the losses was that a fat person was riding a BMX. The epic BO3 montage was that they were using knifes and throwing them over buildings so they can kill the bad team.

Then we played outside and we played with a soccer ball and we kicked it around and then the ball got stuck on the tree.Next we played with the Nerf gun and we played like we were in a game. I had the Mega Nerf gun while Xavier had Elite Nerf gun. My gun had the biggest bullet than Xavier's one. I keep winning because I had a secret hiding spot. It was under the car. They don’t know where am I because I was hiding. Then we played frisbee and I threw the frisbee and it went over the hedge and got stuck.

Then my mum came and I had to go because my dad wanted me to come home because he hasn't seen me through out this how day. My favourite part was when I played games and played outside and I hope Xavier’s Uncle came because he was good and Black Ops 2 online.

Who would win?

Planning:
Game:                          Type of Car:         Weather:          Time of day
Need for Speed            Toyota Supra          Fine                   Night
                                    Skyline GTR

Could the King of Street Racing lose against a teenger.
One night a teenger was curising down the street with his blue Skyline GTR R34. It was dark and the weather was not raining but fine. He saw the king of street racing near Hollywood and he decide to challenge the king of street racing for a street race. The king of street racing came with his blazing orange Toyota Supra. They met and lined their car up together.

While the man said Go, both cars swift and they were speeding all the way to the finish line. The teenger took shortcut so he can get there faster. While the king of racing went the normal way, the teenger went through construction works. The king of racing was almost near to the finish line and all of a sudden, the teenger hit a ramp and got back on track with the king of street racing.

The street racing king used his nitrous and went a bit away from the teenger who also used nitrous and caught up to the king of racing. They both hit a ramp and they went flying in the sky like a Golden Eagle. They were so close to the finish line and they look like they were going to tie but that is another story.

Could this be the end for the King of street racing...

Building patterns!

WALHT: find and continue a pattern - recording results in a table.

Screenshot 2016-03-07 at 10.20.06.png
I compared the tile  patterns above to find the rule and used this to complete the table below.
Factory number.
1
2
3
4
5
6
7
Number of grey squares.
2
4
6
8
10
12
14
Number of red square.
9
15
21
27
33
39
45
Number of all square.
11
19
27
35
43
51
59
Using this information, I was then able to answer the questions below.
Questions:
  1. How many grey squares do we need for the eighth factory? 16
  2. How many grey square will we need for the hundredth factory? 200
  3. What is the number pattern for the grey square? Add 2
  4. How many red square do we need for the ninth factory? 57
  5. If there are 14 grey squares how many red squares are there? 42
  6. What is the number pattern for the squares? Add 6
  7. How do we get the number of red squares for one factory from the number of red squares in the factory before that? 3
  8. If we have to use exactly 36 red squares in making a factory , how many grey squares would we need? 12
  9. How many squares do we need altogether for the seventh factory? 59
  10. What is the number pattern that we are getting for the total number of square? Add 9
  11. If we had 35 tiles, which numbered factory could we make? 4
  12. Which of these numbers are not a number of squares for one of these factories: 20, 21, 22, 23: 23

I entered the information from the table in a spreadsheet and then used that to create the graph below.

Amit is a true hero!

WALHT: In reading this article I have been learning to combine close reading and inference skills to analyse text to learn more about the qualities of heroes.

Torrential rain pour out onto the city streets like a canal. There might be an accident or a loss life during the torrential rain. Others shared their experiences about there life and they day dreamed about a disaster. However, his action are to be remembered, for it was these that made Amit a true hero.

Amit helps an old lady to cross the road. Amit believes in saving an elderly life from dying by cars. Amit was brave and caring. This was shown when he ran out to take the old ladys hand to cross the road even though cars was passing by. Amit was also supportive. This was also  shown when Amit support the old lady if she falls to the ground.
