Wind is the natural movement of the air which we cannot see because it is invisible Sometimes it can be hot and sometimes it can be cold or very, very cold!
If it is very windy it could cause a hurricane or storm which can cause a lot of damage to properties, plants, trees and crops. Sometimes the wind is very calm so calm that you do not even seem to hear it.
Wind gives us oxygen to breathe and the trees help clean the air from the pollution. When a cold wind and hot wind is combined, it creates tornadoes.
According to a report on TV, there are many tornadoes that form in Canada and some parts of America.
When you feel the breeze of the fresh, clean and gentle wind, it feels soft and nice on your skin. It makes us feel good.
When it gets very windy, we can hear it whistling and we can see the plants and trees swaying and the leaves rustling.
The wind is important because we need air to breathe on earth. It is also important that the air around us is clean and that’s why we should look after our environment and make sure that it is not polluted. We should plant more trees so the air that we breathe becomes cleaner and fresher.
