WALT recognise that Jesus feels the emotions of a human. I know this when I write the emotions expressed by Jesus from each scripture.

What happened after the Transfiguration?

Do you want to make a carrot and zucchini muffin?

           Materials

•        2 self raising flour
•       2 tablespoon brown sugar
•       ½ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
•         1 teaspoon cinnamon
•        1 cup grate carrot
•        1  cup grate zucchini
•        ½ pecan nuts
•        2 eggs
•        ¾ cup buttermilk
•        ½  cup canola oil

           Instructions

1. Before you begin, turn the oven to 200 degrees C.
2. While the oven is heating, put flour, sugar, soda and
3. cinnamon into sifter and sift it to a large bowl.
4. Grate the carrot and zucchini, chop the nets and add these to the sift ingredients.
5. In separate bowl, lightly beat the eggs with a fork.
6. Make a well in the centre of the ingredients and add beaten eggs, milk and oil.
7. Mix with a fork until the ingredients are combined.
8. Be careful not to mix all the ingredients to long or your  muffin might be tough.
9. Drop large tablespoon of mixture into non-stick muffin tins.
10. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
11. Eat them while they're warm.

Do you know how you can make a loud bang with paper?

Material

• A large rectangle of thin paper.

Instructions

1. Fold the longest sides of the Paper together. Unfold them.
2. Fold down each corner so that the side matches with the middle crease.
3. Fold the paper in half along the middle crease.
4. Fold the paper in half again from the side. Then unfold it.
5. Fold up the bottom corner so that the bottom edge meets the middle crease.
6. Turn it over.
7. Fold it in half from the side.
8. ( Tricky bit! ) Hold the banger at the open end.
9. Hold the long edge towards you. Than put your hand up to the air and bring it down sharply.

The paper will open with a bang, if it doesn’t, you need to follow the instructions again.

My best game against Eden Tiger!

My name is Cameron, I’m eight years old and I live in Panmure.

On Saturday I had a game against Eden Tigers. We won by 12 tries and Eden Tigers got four tries. After the game had finished, we had Subway for our win against Eden Tigers.

It was my favourite game because we won.

We are learning how to write a recount.

• A4 paper

Instructions

1. Fold the A4 paper in half vertically.
2. Fold the top corners in to form a big triangle.
3. Fold up bottom flaps.
4. Make the triangle in a square again.
5. Open up the middle so that your boat can float.

My wonderful time at the game!

 On the weekend, I had a game against College Rifles and we won our game. We won because we've been working hard. At half-time,  the College Rifles have 3 tries and Marist had eight. My position was hooker or the prop. We had fruit snacks as a treat for our win against college Rifles.

I went to Rebel Sports to buy some sports shoes for myself and a rugby ball because I did really well. Then I went to see my baby brother at the graveyard. After that, we went to the Warehouse to buy my nana something because she was cold.

Next, I had Burger King for lunch and it was yummy. When I finished my lunch, I was told to go outside and kick the ball around. Then I went home to play Touch with my dad. I also had some Ice cream because it was so hot. After that I watched  T.V in the living room.. I enjoyed my weekend with my mum and dad.

Do you want to know what I did on Mother's Day with my mum?

On Sunday, I went to church with my mum and my nana because it was a special day for all mums and nana. When church finished, we went to get some pink rose for my mum.we went with Nana to a cafe in the corner of panmure. We had some yummy food at that cafe. We ate steak and beef for breakfast.

After breakfast we had some delicious banana smoothie, cookies and chocolate cake. Is now my favourite cafe since my mum took me there for Mother’s Day. Than we went home to have lunch and it was cool to have because we had barbeque for lunch.

When we finished lunch,  we had a nice warm shower in the house. It was funny because my cousin forgot to make  his part for my nana’s dinner. Then I gave my mum a great kiss and a hug before I went to bed. I enjoyed my awesome Mother’s Day with my mum and nana.

Do you want to make a vegetable print wrapping paper?

Ingredients

• Half a mushroom
• A bit of celery or broccoli
• A3 paper

Instructions

1. Cut up the vegetables and dry them on kitchen paper.

2. Then press cut surface onto a good inky stamp pad.

3. Press the vegetable onto an A3 size sheet of paper.

4. Use different stamp pads, colours and vegetables to make your patterns.

5.Keep on printing until the A3 sheet is cover.

6.Look at your paper and check if you have done a good job.

You must ask an adult to help you.

My mum is the best

My mum is special because she is lovely , when I get stuck on my homework she there for me. She is funny because she makes me laugh. She make us yummy food to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. When I get hurt, my mum takes me to the doctor. Mum gives me great ideas for my writing. She goes to work to buy my dad and I some food to eat. My mum is the best because she registered me for sports clubs so I can play with my friend Aiden and others.

We are learning how to write a description about our mum.

I know I can do this when I give examples about what makes my mum special.

Do you want to make some damper?

Ingredients

450g (3 cups) self-raising flour.

pinch of salt.

80g butter, chilled, cubed.

185ml (¾ cups) water.

Instructions

1.Place dry ingredients into a bowl.

2.Add the water slowly, stir with a wooden spoon until it looks like a dough.

3.Roll it into the shape of a loaf.

4.Take some of your dough and wrap it around a stick.

5.Place it in the oven but ask an adult to help you.

6.Cook over coal on a fire for 5 minutes.

Be sure to let it cool down before you serve it.
