Have you been to Rainbow's End?
On Saturday, the 25th of September, I went to Rainbows End with my cousins, Auntie and their dad. They took me because my mum and dad could not come because they had to look after my baby brother. When we got to Rainbows End, we waited in the line to give our tickets because I play for Marist which gives me some tickets for free because Rainbows End sponsors our Marist Rugby Team.
I also saw Deon, my coach from last year. I showed Xavier's mum and dad where to put the chilly bin because Marist Rugby Team has an assigned place to put our food in. Then I told Xavier that we are going to the Mine. We got on a Minecart and it was scary for Xavier. It was cool that we were almost there that we saw people on the Log Flume and the Invader.
When it was finished, we went to the Log Flume. We had to wait in the huge long line to get on it. Then it was our turn and we went. Xavier got scared because he hadn’t been on it. I like the part when we got to the last activity and we went down, very, very fast! There was a camera there so I smiled. It was fun and then I saw my friend Xavier and he took me to the Motion Master. It was on a scary rollercoaster going to Pirate Island on moving chairs.
Then Xavier and his dad went to the Bumper Boats so my friend and I decided to joined them. We got on and I took the purple bumper boat and charged to bump Xavier and my friend. It was so much fun but then it over quite so soon.
Then Eli got tired so their dad took him home. I was stuck with my cousins and auntie. We went on the Stratosfear. We went on the less extreme and it was a small line and we were next to go on. When we got on, I was in the middle of Xavier and my auntie. I told them to hold tight. It went up high and went down for about 5 minutes. Then we headed to the Invader. The queue looked long but not really. It was funny while we were in the line because there was a lady holding her phone and taking pictures when she’s not supposed to.
Later on, it was our turn to get on the Invader. I was frightened because I didn’t see any seatbelts and I was worried about our safety. When we got on it I saw that there were some on the back of us. I was still scared that I had to hold on tight as it went extremely fast and I thought that I couldn’t hold it for too long but I managed until the ride was finished. The last ride that we went on was the Pirate Ship. When we got on it, it swayed left, right, left, right. There was a boy who stood up even if there’s a sign that says, “Don’t stand up during the ride”. So I told the boy to sit down immediately.
Finally, we left and went home. I played a little bit of C.O.D Black Ops 2 ( Means Call Of Duty ) when we got home.
I had a wonderful time at Rainbows End. I wish I went on more rides but maybe next time when I am bigger or when I am a grown up. Hopefully next year I could go back and have a Go Karting experience.

Ahh, a tsunami!
New Zealand on tsunami warning!
There have been tsunami warnings for the east coast of New Zealand and the massive earthquake in Chile. Gisborne and other areas on the east coasts have recorded waves up to 30 centimetres long. Experts said that the first waves hit the Chatham Islands at 11.50pm and Chatham Islands mayor Alfred Preece said that three families were evacuated as they lived on very low land. He said there had been no damage from the waves but islanders have had similar warnings before and they are all taken very seriously.

Stop playing video games now!
Stop children from playing video games.
Playing sports is better for your fitness and you will be healthy because playing video games does nothing to your fitness. Buying games with money is a waste of money because money could be used for food, clothes, school bills and needs for them.
Playing video games can waste a lot of power because the power bills could be very high and hard to pay all of them. When they play video games, they are not paying attention to anything else. They will offend some people or parents from playing video game because they are not listening to them and not doing what they are asked to do.
Children should stop playing video game because they will waste money, waste power, will offend people and should play more sports for there fitness.
We are learning to understand and use the structure of persuasive writing.

Never use your phone while you're driving!
Drivers Warned of Cellphone Use!
The new rule in 2004 is that drivers are completely banned from using mobile devices while driving in their cars. Although this law has been active for 11 years, many people still chooses not to follow the new rules. The drivers have been warned to stop this illegal behaviour as police begin a nationwide to crack down on cellphone use. In just 90 minutes, a total of 10 drivers were caught using their cellphones in Auckland city. They will have to pay a $80 dollar fine. More than 1000 crashes were reported as a result of drivers using their cellphone.

Have you played Borderlands The Pre Sequel before?
On Saturday, I had a sleepover at my cousin Xavier at my house. We went on the computer to play Roblox. First we played Twisted Murderer because Xavier chose the game. I showed him the glitches and he was surprised because he didn’t knew about them. After a while, It became boring so we played Deathrun,( you have to jump over traps before the big hand to kill your character or you character will die by the man who presses the button and set the traps ). When you kill the person, you will get money and XP ( yay! )
Next we headed to my bedroom and played Xbox 360. First we played COD MW3 ( Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 ). We did campaigns on COD MW3 and we had to shoot enemies from London with a tank ( yay tanks! ). Then we played Sonic Generation ( Sonic the hedgehog who runs really fast ). The mission was all about running through the stages to unlock the levels by defeating the bosses. After that, we played Borderlands The Pre Sequel. I was Wilhelm the Enforcer and I had strong snipers and rifles gun. I had to get an Oz kit to stay alive on the moon. I got help from someone and I came across these weird monster. Some were human monster, robots and lava dogs.
Then dad asked us if we wanted to go with him to the dairy to buy lollies and a drink. I got an Up and Go and a Cadbury chocolate, ( it was yummy ). Then we ate our food and when we finished. I changed the Xbox 360 to Wii. We watched Youtube and we watched Fouseytube. Fouseytube uploaded a Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat Elevator Prank video. The Street Fighter were Ryu and Chun-Li. Mortal Kombat was on Raiden. We also watched Smack cam, Ownage prank, Borderlands The Pre Sequel walkthrough that we knew where to go and how to complete our mission.
Afterwards, my mum called us for dinner. Xavier and I had pizza and I had five hot dog ( it was delicious ). Next we listened to Silento and Minecraft Parodies. Some of the Parodies was Creeper Fear, Minecraft Life and Hunger Games. We also watched someone making a song with a Jukebox on Minecraft. My cousin likes the Creeper Fear song a lot because the beats were quick. Then it was time to go to bed so we turned Wii off.
I hope we got to watch more things on Youtube and play Borderlands The Pre Sequel again in our next sleepover because it’s a very addictive game to play and watch some more videos because some of the videos are really funny

What a busy day!
On Sunday morning, I woke up at 8:00 o’clock and played Call of Duty Black Ops 2 and Call of Duty MW3 ( Modern Warfare 3 ). On Call of Duty Black Ops 2, I played a mode called Zombies. I kept shooting the zombies and I earn money and got new guns from the gun shop. YAY, I got a Ak-47 rifle gun and a Sniper. Then I went on Call of Duty MW3 and I was Yuri. I had to Soap from dying and I had Price beside me to help ( It was really a hard level ). Next I went to the kitchen and a sausage roll and an Up & Go ( delicious )!
After having some breakfast, I went back to play Xbox 360 and I played Final Fantasy Xiii ( Xiii means 13 ). I was on disc 2 at chapter 5 and I was versing the boss with Lighting and Hope. I kept dying so I quit the game and played Midnight Club L.A. ( L.A. Means Los Angeles). I made a cool Mazda Rx-7 car from Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift. Next, I had to go to my nana’s house because her brother was coming over. There were going to be lots of Tonga food. My family and I made some BBQ chicken and sponge cake with custard for dessert.
Next I went with my auntie to pick my cousin Eli at home with his dad. When we got to my auntie’s house, I got my basketball that I left at their house. My cousin and I were playing basketball. I was winning because I scored ten points and my cousin scored nine points. It was a close game. Then we headed back to my nana’s house and I saw their car. It was a big grey van and when I arrived in, I saw three girls in the living room and all the adults in the kitchen. I hugged and gave a kiss to my nana’s brother.
Following that, my cousin and I went to the kitchen to have something to eat because the adults were in the living room. I had four sausage, beef and a cup of mango juice. Then I had a three big bowls of red jelly and some of our sponge cake with custard ( yummy )! Then we headed back to the living room and watched Big Hero 6. Big Hero 6 is about a robot who helps Hiro to destroyed his mirobots. When my nana’s brother left, we played Xbox 360. We played Minecraft and we updated it so that we could get colour glass and birch doors and more.
Next my cousin and I got the Guardian of the Galaxy and Avengers Age of Ultron skin pack. Then we made a wither ( This can be made by putting soul sand in a T shape and putting 3 wither skeleton skulls on top of the three upper blocks ) and it destroyed all of the land. I killed it and it gave a lot of items ( yes )! Then I had to get ready to go home. I quickly gathered my belongings and headed home in my uncle’s car. i had dinner and went to play Call of Duty Black Ops 2 zombies one last time. Soon it was 7:30 so I went to watch Repeat After Me with my mum and baby brother. Repeat After Me is a programme when a famous actor is instructed to say and do certain actions. It was very funny because they had to say and do things that they usually wouldn't do. Then I had to go to bed because there was school the next day. Before I went to bed, I had to get my P.E. ( Physical Education ) gear ready for basketball session at school.
I hope I have more time to watch more movies next time. Sleepover is always fun with my cousin so I hope we get to have a sleepover again soon.

Minions are here in New Zealand!
If you live in Waikato or have driven along Cambridge Road, you might see some familiar characters. The Characters from the movie Despicable Me. The Minions that are on display are Kevin and Stuart and they have been spotted in a local paddock. They are 2.5 metres tall minions that are made out of hay bales, paint and tyres.

Have you been to the Aotea Centre?
On the last day of school, we took the bus to Aotea Centre to see a performance. We had to buddy up with the students from Room 1 students. Some of Room 7 students got 3 buddies. I had Oliver and Paul. We walked to the gate and took the first bus. The first bus had Room 1 and Room 7 students. Room 5L and Room 2 took the other bus. We went on the motorway to get to city centre.
When we got to Auckland City Hall, we all got of the bus and went to get our to go inside the hall. We sat at the front and behind us was St Teresa's School. Their uniform was red. Our one was dark green. A dance group performed for us and they used their body to form the shape of a Koru while they were dancing.
After that, we had morning tea. We had to stay with our buddies at morning tea. We had to stay with our buddies at morning tea. St Teresa went to see a part of the museum while we saw another. We went to three activity in Aotea centre.
We went downstairs to experience our first digital art. Our facilitator called a number and we blew into it and it changed the hair of the people on the screen. We went upstairs for the next activity. We had to use a Ipad or a tablet and look through the camera to see the bird in its bird home. There were a lot around the room. I saw blue, rainbow, yellow and orange birds with Paul and Oliver. They had turns with the Ipad as well.
The last activity was making a story up. Our story was about a cheetah wanting to be the king so he hid the king’s baby and he dressed up like the baby. Then the king saw the baby and said, “ You are not our baby.” He said, “ I wanted to be king so I did that.” Then the king said, “ You could be the prime minister.” However, that was not what he wanted.
Finally, we had lunch and I gave my buddies their lunch and then we waited for some instructions. Then we went to see the performance that St Teresa saw in the morning. We walked to the place and we sat with our buddies. It was funny because the the lady fell down on purpose to show it was dark. We had to help a boy save the town from poisonous smoke and they needed power. My favourite part was when the mask of the darth vader appeared and also a blue lightsaber.
When it was finished, we had to get our bags and go back to our bus because it was almost home time. We went on the bus and took the motorway back school.
Going to Art Learning day was fun because we had a lot of activities to do and we got to see some performances.
