Facts about Mokomoko:

Mokomoko are skinks ( Skinks a smooth-bodied lizard )! Mokomoko lies under the sun to keep warm. People make hidey holes to escape from their predators. They eat insects and berries to keep them alive. Mokomoko needs to live with surrounding like nature to survive. People who find Mokomoko likes to make their homes safe from their predators and away from busy roads. Mokomoko cannot move fast or digest food if they are cold. Mokomoko can drop their tails if attacked by a predator. Mokomoko can live for up to 20 years in the wild. Baby common skinks are only 2.5 cm long from the snout to the tail tip.
